Join the Blue Knights IL XII for a 75 mile poker run through northern Lake County to benefit Lambs Farm. Coffee and donuts will be provided at registration. Lambs Farm Popcorn Days
Friday, October 2 & Saturday, October 3
In celebration of National Disabilities Employment Awareness Month and National Popcorn Month, Lambs Farm and The Popcorn Factory have come together to raise needed funds to support Lambs Farm’s various programs and to promote the contributions and skills of workers with disabilities. The second annual Lambs Farm Popcorn Days will take place on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3. Volunteers are needed to help collect funds on various streets and storefronts throughout our local community. Barn Burner BBQ

Free to spectators, $3 to judge chili contest
Things get hot and spicy as Lambs Farm hosts the 4th Annual Barn Burner BBQ Competition sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. The smoky food festival features the Chili Challenge Cook-Off, contests, demonstrations, raffles, vendors, Miller Beer Tent, live music and more!
The public is invited to compete in or judge the chili competition, and learn expert tips from the barbeque competitors. Learn the trick to cooking low and slow. One lucky chili entry will be proclaimed the People’s Choice.
